Triathlon Singapore is pleased to share that we are applying for triathlon to be included in the Sport Education Programme (SEP), an initiative by Sport Singapore and the Ministry of Education aimed at introducing endorsed sports into schools. Through SEP, schools are encouraged to adopt structured sports programmes that broaden students’ exposure and deepen their development. Each participating school is provided with a S$10,000 dollar-to-dollar matching grant for them to take up sports programmes from an endorsed list.
By leveraging the visibility and outreach of SEP, we aim to:
● Increase awareness of triathlon among schools and students
● Provide introductory experiences that demystify swim-bike-run
● Highlight the sport’s values of resilience, discipline, and all-around development
We would like to invite you to submit a proposal outlining the programmes you could offer to schools under SEP. Please include the following details in your proposal:
● Programme structure and duration (e.g. 2 hours per session, 2 sessions per week)
● Target student profile (e.g. beginners, talent identification, development squad)
● Key learning outcomes and progression pathway
● Manpower and safety framework
● Estimated budget breakdown
School Sports Fiesta
In addition, your proposal should also include a draft program for an involvement with Sport Singapore’s School Sports Fiesta, which will serve as a strategic opportunity to promote triathlon to schools. This platform allows the sport to bring it to the school students and educators to experience the sport firsthand, positioning triathlon as a compelling option for adoption under SEP.
TAS will support programming-related expenses for the School Sports Fiesta, subject to the requirements outlined in your proposal.
The School Sports Fiesta is typically conducted as a half day, cluster-level event involving schools within the same cluster. Each activity group (approximately 30 – 40 students from different schools) will have about one hour or less at each sport station. Proposed fiesta activities may include workshops, introductory clinics, or skill-based challenges/leaderboard-style activities that are engaging and accessible to beginners. Activities should be engaging, accessible, and fun.
Your draft proposal for the Fiesta should include:
· Just one slide outlining a simple overall concept for each activity group (including space requirements)
· An estimated budget breakdown
· You may propose multiple concurrent stations (e.g. 5 stations running simultaneously)
Deadline for submission of proposals (Sport Fiesta and SEP)
28 March
Awarding of official club/coach to activate programmes
28 May
1st School Sports Fiesta event
June onwards
SEP implementation (subject to school selection of Triathlon)
*Proposals reviewed and endorsed by TAS will be submitted to Sport Singapore (SportSG) for final evaluation and approval. Implementation will be subject to SportSG’s confirmation.
Eligibility
● Club/coach must be a current TAS member
● Coaches deployed must be NROC-certified
Our goal is to build a strong, ready pool of programme offerings that schools can confidently select following their exposure to triathlon through this platform.

Triathlon Singapore (TAS), the national governing body for multisport in Singapore, is proud to announce a new five-year partnership with Zoot Sports, appointing the global endurance brand as the Official Apparel Partner of Triathlon Singapore from this year through to 2029.
The partnership, valued at close to S$500,000 in product and support, marks Zoot Sports’ largest long-term investment in Singapore’s multisport landscape and will see the brand provide performance racewear and training apparel for national athletes across all high-performance and development programmes.
The sponsorship includes Zoot Sports’ elite race suit that will be used for international competition, built with premium materials designed for speed, heat management, and aerodynamics, ensuring Singapore athletes race in world-class gear at major international events.
Athletes will also receive cycling jerseys and bib shorts for cycling training and race preparation, as well as performance jackets for travel, podium ceremonies, and cold-weather race conditions.
Beyond performance wear, the partnership also equips the wider national setup with official apparel. Polo tees and lifestyle items will be issued for media appearances, official functions, and sponsor engagements, while round-neck tees and technical official (TO) vests will standardise the look and professionalism of coaches, officials, and support crew at sanctioned events.
The official Triathlon Singapore x Zoot Sports national race kit will make its debut at the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand in December 2025.
