TAS Coach Accreditation Programme
TAS aims to provide an education pathway for coaches in Singapore from the beginner level and up. The TAS Coach Accreditation Programme empowers coaches with the knowledge and skills essential to coach triathletes. Athletes will also have the confidence that they are working with qualified and accredited coaches within the national framework of the sport.
Benefits
As a TAS accredited triathlon coach, you will:
- Hold a national accreditation that ensures the public of an elevated and standardised base of competency skills and knowledge in triathlon;
- Be able to network and build relationships with other senior coaches, peers coaches, athletes, and various stakeholders in the community;
- Have access to national-level community programmes, professional development and exclusive coaching opportunities brought forward by TAS.

The World Triathlon Coach Certification is valid for 4 years. To maintain this certification validation, accredited coaches will be required to maintain their currency by applying for revalidation of their certification every 4 years. To do this, they will need to successfully complete an annual update for each of these 4 years. After completing all 4 years, they will then gain revalidation. The above list of World Triathlon accredited coaches (updated as of 9 March 2021) are the only coaches who have met all criteria to maintain their certification validity.

NROC Accredited Coaches
Official national coaches will appear on the National Registry of Coaches (NROC). This guarantees that the coach meets baselines qualifications, provides a safe environment for their athletes, holds a Standard First Aid certification, abides by the Coach’s Code of Ethics, and continues to practice and improve to deliver the best coaching they can to their athletes.
