This is to inform all triathletes in Singapore that the Tri-Factor Triathlon held on 28.08.2011 organized by Orange Room, is NOT sanctioned by Triathlon Association of Singapore (TAS), the governing body and authority in triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon and other multi-sports in Singapore.

Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Grand Final (September 7 to September 11, 2011)

REVISION TO ADS ANTI-DOPING RULES - ARTICLE 20.3.2
Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) has revised Article 20.3.2 of the ADS Anti-Doping Rules as follows:
20.3.2 No member of the TUE Committee, National Anti-Doping Disciplinary Committee or National Anti-Doping Appeals Committee, or any employee or agent of ADS or any member of the ADS Board, shall be liable for:
(a) anything done or omitted to be done in the discharge (or purported discharge) of his/her duties or functions pursuant to these Anti-Doping Rules, or
(b) any mistake in law, fact or procedure made in the course of a disciplinary or appeal hearing or in the imposition of a prohibition or sanction under these Anti-Doping Rules,
except where such act, omission or mistake is shown to have been in bad faith.
The amendments shall come into immediate effect as of 10 June 2011.

Triathlon Technical Official (Level 1) Course
Triathlon Association of Singapore (TAS) will be conducting the Triathlon Technical Official (Level 1) Course. We welcome you to be part of this training as this will certify you as a Technical Official (TO) and you will be given opportunities to officiate in several national Triathlon events. With the OSIM Singapore International Triathlon 2011 (OSIT 2011) around the corner, we hope to develop new TOs to strengthen our current line-up.

OSIM Singapore International Triathlon (OSIT) 2011 ITU Asian Cup, Elite and Junior Elite Category – Qualifier for Asian Triathlon Championship, Yi-lan Chinese Taipei
The upcoming ITU Asian Cup, OSIM Singapore International Triathlon (OSIT) 2011 will be held on 30 and 31 July.
1. To qualify for this Junior Elite and Elite Category (Draft Legal), you need to be an athlete under the TTS Scheme.
2. The top 2 male and top 2 female local athletes each in the OSIT 2011 Junior Elite and also Elite Category will qualify for the upcoming Asian Triathlon Championship in Yi-lan, Chinese Taipei on 24-25 September. The association will cover 50% of the airfare, all meals and accommodation, and airport transfers.
If you think you had qualified for the TTS Scheme (Please refer to the TTS Scheme Policy) , and hence the above mentioned, please fill in the athlete profile form and send it back to eugene.ong@triathlonsingapore.org latest by 24 June 2011.For

ITU Triathlon Asian Cup, Subic International Triathlon 2011 will be held in Subic Bay Philippines on 30 April to 1 May.
TAS will open registration for the Elite Category standard distance (18 years and above) and Sprint Distance (16-18 years). Interested athletes, whom think that they are eligible, please submit the following documents by 12 April 2011 for our consideration:
- Your Triathlon race results from the past 12 months.
- Any Component Swim, Bike or Run Results from past 12 months.
